Funghi Piccolo lounge table

In 2025, the esteemed Funghi table collection will be expanded with elegant lounge tables in various heights. Funghi Piccolo, with a height of 405–470 mm and table tops in standard sizes Ø500–800 mm, combines innovative design with functional sustainability. The table features a self-locking undercarriage, inspired by the original Funghi Tondo model, providing a stable and thoughtful construction entirely in wood.

For those seeking a larger lounge table in the same design language, there is also the Funghi Piccolo 35 table, with a generous tabletop of Ø1200 mm. This model has a unique yet cohesive design that complements the series and works equally well standalone or in combination with the smaller tables.

The Funghi Piccolo lounge table, entirely made of wood, is modular for a circular furniture flow, made entirely of wood which results in low CO2 emissions and facilitates future upgrades for reuse. Funghi is a complete table family with wooden tables, where each table can easily be customized according to the customer's preferences in terms of color and surface material. The innovative design of the table collection has received considerable attention and appreciation, as the model offers a forward-thinking design entirely in wood – free from additional materials. A modern classic that combines craftsmanship, aesthetics, and sustainability with future circular furniture flow.

Specification text & Construction

The Funghi table collection has LCA and Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for Funghi Tondo. Minimalist clean, innovative design for a circular furniture flow.

The core of the tabletop is 24mm birch plywood, eco-certified birch plywood. Top side of the top covered with re-sandable thick veneer 1.5 mm/HPL/DT Linoleum/Kayar/Customer choice. The underside of the table top is pre-drilled and prepared with a rampamuff for easy assembly/disassembly of the undercarriage to facilitate reuse/circularity of the table. Open plywood edge with softly rounded milling and chamfered 30 mm.

Self-locking modular stands of turned birch plywood, 18 mm, completely stable without additional materials. Easy to disassemble and separate different materials for future circular furniture flows. Also easy to reassemble with retained function if there is a need to move the furniture between interiors.
