The sitt furniture plays a crucial role in creating the desired atmosphere around a table. It not only affects the comfort of those sitting at it, but also for other users such as cleaning staff.
A solid wood chair reduces noise vibrations, but the sound can be further reduced with our sound-reducing pad, which is attached under the seat. We particularly recommend this on a chair with a wooden seat. The most significant factor for the sound is the small furniture pad, or sound pad as we call it, which should be adapted to the floor where the chair is placed. By using the right sound pad for the sitt furniture, any disturbing dragging sounds are also eliminated.
Table solutions can also include suspension fittings for the chair or stool. We have developed gentle alternatives for suspending several of our sitt furniture. These suspensions protect the wooden surface and reduce the noise level. Although it is possible to hang a chair on a tabletop, we do not recommend this as a first choice as it can cause wear on the table surface and edge.
