Stackable Armchair, Lounge Chair, Designed by Stina Sandwall

Customizable with a removable upholstered seat and upholstered backrest.

Tested at RI.SE for a user weight of up to 160 kg. Meets Möbelfakta's requirements for public environments and will soon be certified.

Seat height: 450 mm, Height: 780 mm, Width: 565 mm, Depth: 510 mm.

Standard production in ash, also available in birch and oak.

Tova armchair

Tova is a collection of stackable wooden chairs with high comfort, specifically designed for public environments by Stina Sandwall. A defining feature of these modern chairs is the prismatic bevel where the back leg meets the seat frame. In 2025, a version with a full armrest will be introduced, providing additional support for easier standing. The sleek design creates a light and airy impression without compromising on comfort. The seat can be upholstered in a washable, easily removable fabric, and the backrest can be detached with hand tools for upgrades, enabling a sustainable and circular lifecycle.

All wooden chairs are always delivered with floor-adapted glides for noise reduction.

The Tova armchair meets Möbelfakta's requirements and has been tested for a user weight of up to 160 kg. This wooden chair will soon be officially certified by Möbelfakta.

We have chosen Ludvig Svensson as a partner for purchasing fabrics for several reasons. In addition to their beautiful and durable fabrics, their production is located in Sweden. Which means that, just like us, they have control over the entire production chain. Their determined work with environmental issues is another important detail in our choice of fabric partner, a work that is expressed in the fabric Debut, made from waste in their own production. Construction

Solid wood frame, molded seat and rounded back in veneered birch plywood. Tova armchair is stackable and any upholstered seat can be easily separated for reupholstering.
